Chandigarh’s Tennis Star Sanam Singh Won Silver Medal in Asian Games 2014

Chandigarh’s Tennis star Sanam Singh won silver medal in Asian Games 2014. In 2010, he won gold medal in men’s doubles. He lives in sector-8, Chandigarh.Sanam Singh’s coach Gajendra Singh said “Sanam was struggling for his game. He was not able to come ahead instead of his good start. But after winning medal in Asian games he proved that he is good player as well as fighter too”. Sanam is trained by Gajendra since when Sanam was on fourth number in World Junior rank.
In last Asian games Sanam was coupled with Somnath and they have won Gold medal.
Sanam Singh ranked fourth in the ITF junior rankings in 2005. Played all four junior grand slams. He reached at the round of 16 at the Junior Australian Open, Junior Wimbledon, 2005 Asian Closed Junior Championship and Asia/Oceania Closed Championship singles champion. In 2007, he reached the quarter-finals of a Futures Circuit event in India.
