CM Punjab Flags off Delegation to Canada

The Chief Minister of Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal today flagged off an 18 member delegation to Canada. The delegation in a weeklong stay would work for the academic and strategic educational collaboration between two countries.In the flag off ceremony apart from others Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab; Dalip Sharma Regional Director, PHD Chamber; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges were also present. The 18 members of the delegation include various educationalist and education consultants form Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
S.Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab while extending his good wishes to the delegation said that the education system needs a paradigm shift. The focus should be on introducing skill development in the education system. Introduction of short term skill based courses must be done, so that the students could get employment at national and international level based on such short term courses.
Sh Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab While continuing the theme of the ceremony, said that such educational collaborations help in promoting education at a global level, which will help in developing student’s knowledge, confidence and other skills. The academic advancements of their nations could be adopted here in India through international exchange programmes.
